Final Blog of the Bloggers life 

Here i am June 10 writing my final blog... Wow, isn't that kind of hard to believe. Like that was a full school year? Thats crazy. Even though there have been times where i have really felt like giving up would just be the easiest, just not care about my grades, not care about my engagement in the class. Mr. Hoffman always had a way of showing me how easy it actually was. The person i am i used to only see the obstacles, not see all the friendly people or teachers who are more than happy to help me. This year has truly been a great year for me, not only socially but also educationally. Even though most of the things we were thought in Studies and Literature probably won't stay with me my entire life. I know that the memories that i have had here will. From having debates with Mr. Hoffman about what i should do with my life, to having birds fly into our classroom and have us evacuated. I realize that i was never really the best student in my classes, not only Hoffmans. And for that I would like to apologize. There a collection of extremely smart people in my classes, and i think about it more and more everyday. To me it is not a question of what you are going to be, but how well you are going to do it. Being the WIHI students that we all are, we are most likely all going to find a great place for us in the world. 

Ya so i kinda didn't really do anything actually studies or literature related in this blog (Sorry Mr. Hoffman) but i felt that i would rather show what i truly felt about you guys. I love you guys! Sorry to Samir for overusing that word, but i had to.

Blog 4? I think
Today i want to talk a little about this entire year, all of the big projects and all the stuff I feel like i received from them. The first project that comes to mind is the National History Day project in which we had to make a presentation of some kind about a person and how they were leaders. To be completely honest this was probably one of the better projects just because we had the opportunity to really dig into one persons life and find out a bunch about that individual that we would never have known before. Like who would have ever known that President Theodore Roosevelt had 7 sets of glasses sewn into his military uniform during his time in Cuba. I don't know about you guys but that is such a legendary story to me. Also want to shout out to that kid Spencer for making it to the nationals or something. He apparently had a better presentation than me... I can't see that but whatever. Im playing, props to spencer and to everybody who made a presentation. I was truly impressed a lot of sweat and probably some tears went into all of these projects. Mr. Hoffman was also really a big support to a lot of people including me, and god knows I appreciate it. Alright well i guess i might start doing this more, just mentioning the different projects and what i feel like i gained from them... Peace

First Blog in forth quater 

Personally I have always been really interested in the Berlin wall, one of the major topics we have been discussing lately in class. This wall was built in a time of well segregation, Germany was split up into four different parts, one for each of the winners. (France, England, Russia and USA) The Russian sector was officially a different country with a communist rule. This was not something that the eastern germans wanted but was put onto them. They were forced into communism, most of these people did not enjoy this and if you said anything "bad" about the rule you would be taken care of by the national security of Germany. I would like to try to draw this over to the segregation their was of the black people in America. Both of these two cultures were pushed into a worse lifestyle then what they should have gotten. In Germany there were a lot of people who tried to get onto the Western side of the wall. West Germany was heavily influenced by america, which to Russia obviously was a threat. These were american ideals so close to Russia and communism. Even though i am not directly a supporter of communism i like to think that there are some things that are good about it, Russia just did not execute it properly. 

Blog 1 Semester 2 

The prohibition was one of the biggest failures from the government to abolish some of the peoples rights. The idea behind it was that the domestic violence situation was becoming a really big problem in the United States since now the females were actually heard by the rest of the nation. Not to say that the problem was not urgent it was just never brought up by any of the males that were in charge. The reason i think for this was because the females did not have the right to vote so therefore there was no reason to think about them in the manner of pleasing them to get more votes. But all of a sudden women are stating to get heard so all the men began to fear, that maybe it was a good idea to stop all of this domestic violence in the homes. Therefore they came up with the conclusion that it was the alcohol that caused all the violence and all the criminal activities in the country. I am not here to mention all the things we have learnt in class but instead I want to point out that if women's rights was an important topic way before it was, then maybe this would never have happened. Which in turn would have made the Prohibition nothing but an idea. I know this became very convoluted but what i am trying to say is that if women would have gotten better rights earlier in the timeline of this country then maybe the nation would have looked very much different.
